A place of great encounters

THE RUDRAKSH attracts you. This blessed place calls you through an invitation, the success on social networks, the first-rate services that are offered to you, and the landscape – a constant gift of nature... it calls you through the very divine voice that echoes in the singing of birds, in the breeze that makes the trees whisper and in the mountains that are present throughout the infinite horizon. And calls you through the generosity of the entire team, as I've said before here, and I don't get tired of repeating it.
 

The call brings together people from all over and creates unforgettable moments. There, meeting new friends and a bit of their culture, listening to their stories around a campfire or sharing our meals, and having a lot of laughter together make our hearts warmer; it makes us feel at home, in deep joy. I will never forget the great encounters I was lucky enough to experience during the 
weeks I lived in this incredible place..!! I even did a Mahalila reading for a new American friend who was staying there. How challenging..!! It was my first game in English. We loved it..!! I confess that I miss everything so much, that I can't wait to go back and experience the pleasure of discovering new details every day, new paths between villages, new friendly faces amidst many cups of chai.
 

For seven days I stayed with the small group that I took from Brazil, finishing our tour of India there. After my colleagues returned home, I stayed there for another thirty days..!! THE RUDRAKSH is the perfect place for a good relaxation after a pilgrimage through the many tourist attractions that this rich country offers. Like other groups who wisely choose this paradise in Selur for a few days of meditation, contemplation of magnificent nature and very special meals, we had the opportunity to take Yoga and Vedanta classes with fantastic local teachers, and cooking classes with the owner who cooks divinely. The teachers chosen to stay there with the groups are extremely competent and certainly enrich us with their vast knowledge, affection and patience to teach and exchange experiences.
 

In another very happy moment, we had the unique opportunity to participate in Bhandara. It's maybe something like Thanksgiving. In this very special event, the owners and the entire team of THE RUDRAKSH lovingly prepare and offer a complete lunch to many villagers from the surrounding villages. Entire families come to share this moment of fraternization through food distributed in abundance. Helping to serve the children, men and women sitting side by side on the floor, amid many curious smiles, many photos and open hearts was unforgettable for us. The owners and staff were also served by us after the villagers..!! It was very funny..!! We were all completely available, practicing our highest intentions in this very significant event.
 
For those who have the privilege of being in India today, February 12, and traveling for about three hours from Rishikesh to THE RUDRAKSH, on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th, you cannot miss ARTCATION – the 4-Day Art in the Himalayas..!! It will be an immersion in various activities, such as a drum circle, therapies based on sound and body movements, meditation, yoga and walks. I can't wait to see the pictures...!! I'm sure it will be wonderful because it's about people gathered in a fantastic place and with an incredible purpose: to transcend through art..!! I have no doubt it will be another great encounter..!!
