A thousand surprises for my birthday

I was lucky enough to be at THE RUDRAKSH on November 4th, my birthday. I decided to spend the whole day giving myself amazing gifts, doing things I love to do there.
 

As usual, I got out of bed very early and sat relaxed in front of that horizon full of white mountains. That day, I remember the sky was a stunning shade of blue and there wasn't a single cloud. It was a crystalline morning...a magical moment...it seemed as if the mountains had walked silently closer to the resort at night. That skyline is always a mesmerizing sight. A soft joy took over my heart and I could only thank the universe for the blessings bestowed on me, for being there having the privilege of fulfilling an old dream on such a special day. My masala chai was even more delicious... Each sip was savored very slowly. The tea fed me and filled my energetic being along with the beauty of that landscape.
 

I went out for a walk. When people's hearts are light, everything around them is light, too. So, I continued celebrating each of my steps with the trees, with the birds and with the flowers. I celebrated each breath with the colors, sounds and morning aromas that accompanied me and made me even more certain that everything really lives inside us, here and now! That we are never separated from Divinity! I felt so alive, so happy..!! When I reached the top, that endless lawn opened up to me and called me to dance. I danced and twirled around smiling and laid down right there, just to let the soft rays of morning sun kiss me.
 

When I returned to the resort I had a very rich and tasty breakfast as usual. Spent the rest of day peacefully, cultivating my silence. I remember being inspired and going to write, then taking some pictures and answering 'happy birthday' messages. After a divine lunch with typical mountain dishes, I took a nice nap. In the afternoon I went to visit some wonderful women, residents of the village that I met at a party to which I had been kindly invited a few days ago. They don't speak English and I don't speak Hindi. But the language of love, friendship and smiles allow us to have long conversations over masala chai. How adorable is all this..!!
 

My night was exciting..!! I had a party like I haven't had in decades..!! I did not expect..!! What a beautiful surprise..!! At dinner time, there was a table specially decorated for me. The entire staff mobilized to fill the dining hall with strings of lights. The lighting was beautiful..!! My dinner was lovingly prepared by the owner of THE RUDRAKSH, and served at that table full of flowers. With petals of different colors, they drew a big heart and wrote 'happy birthday'. What a rare moment... How much joy..!! What a surprise..!! There was chocolate cake, colored candles, friendly hugs, lots of joy and that memorable disposition of the team to offer you unforgettable moments... There were even fireworks...!! Can you imagine all that?? We had a lot of fun and had a lot of laughs. For a few hours, the nocturnal silence of the resort was broken by the sounds of kindness and the celebration of a new cycle in my life. My heart sang with so much happiness..!!
